This is an excellent unit. It performs as well as the big unit it the chiropractor's office. I currently use mine for a herniated disk in my neck and it relieves the pain. I won't hesitate to use it on other parts of the body if that situation arises. I've used it at least a dozen times using the same pads and they are still going strong. Unlike other units, this one runs on both 9-Volt batteries and AC adapter. It can't be beat for ~50 bucks.
